Give the spectator a chance to win £50 in hard cash. A one in six chance, to be precise.

Six poker chips and £50 in cash are placed in front of the spectator. Five of the chips are worth £50, and one of them is worth absolutely nothing! The magician gives the spectator a free choice of eliminating five of the chips, leaving just one.

But is the magician ready to part with their hard earned cash? Nope. Because when the chips are all turned over to reveal their value, the spectator has managed to defy the odds and win NOTHING!

Skills/sleights required:	No skill, no sleights, no effort. This really is as simple as it gets. Easy to perform, quick to learn, but plays strong!
Ideal performance situation:	A good anytime anywhere effect.
Repeatability/reset:	Instant reset, instant repeat. Baffling!
Suggestions:	The actual method for this effect has been around for a while, but this particular application with the poker chips adds a little more tension to the 'game'. You don't need to use £50 in cash, but I recommend it, as the actual excitement is enhanced by the spectator seeing the simplicity of the game and the real money! Incidentally, this effect can be made to suit any currency upon request, but as standard comes in GBP (£) as standard
